The dim red light of a far alarm clock grabbed Katie's attention as she stared at it with tears flowing down her face; it displayed 2:30AM. She cannot believe that she is up late again...crying, but knew why. The tears felt hot and she tried to think as why it felt that way, medically of course.... "Heart ist fine..." Katie mumbles quietly checking her pulse.....and she sits up because it was getting difficult to breathe. The clap of thunder startles her and she lets out a scream; she was still getting used to Thunder Mountain. She calms down as the soft patter of rain falls on the roof; her bedroom door opens and Soldier is standing there

        Upstairs in a spare bedroom on Red Base, a young lady age of 22...sits on her bed. She purposely skipped dinner and she sits there hearing the nine others having a wonderful time downstairs.                              "Men..." She muttered taking her neatly tied bun and removing her rectangular glasses and places them on the black side table. Being an intern for the team's Medic, wasn't easy...she was mostly harassed by Soldier and Scout...but it was terrible out on the battlefield. The constant name calling

All characters belong to Valve....) Later that evening, Scout is in his room sitting on his bed and staring out the window. He still has his bat in hand and is cautiously watching.  Medic walks by Scout’s room then goes back, concerned he lightly knocks on the door.                “Oh Crap!!!!!!” , Scout yells as he jumps off his bed and looks up to see Medic.                  “Medic….holy crap….don’t do that.” Says Scout as he gets up and gets his bat.                  “Sorry Scout…..,” Medic begins and continues, “Are you doing alvight? You seem tense..”.
